Tri-County Threshermen's Association
April 10, 2011 Minutes
The meeting was called to order by President Norm Kohls at 6 p.m. The Pledge of Alligiance was said.
Joann Dix made the motion, seconded by Dave Poetzel to approve the Secretary's minutes, motion passed.
Howard Kohls made the motion to accept the Treasurer's report, second by Joann Dix, motion passed.
Sandie Poetzel was able to sell some of the past club buttons to a handicap group she is in contact with. Ray Dix made the motion to offer the balance of past
buttons to this group, second by Mikle Williams, motion passed.
There was some discussion about having Tom Blank do the sweet corn at the show. Motion by Joann Dix to give him $50 for last year he did it and see if he will
come this year, second by Marv Wagner, Jr., motion passed. Dave Poetzel would check with Tom to see if he needs help with this.
Sharon Scholl will not be doing the gates this year, Howard Kohls volunteered to take this over.
Joann expressed concern for needing more pies and there was some discussion on improving the pie stand as Peggy Hetzel said we needed better floors in
there.
Due to the tornado sirens going off twice, Mike Williams made motion to adjourn early, Howard Kohls seconded, motion passed.
Those present at the meeting; Ray & Joann Dix, Jim Schuermann, Howard Kohls, Norm Kohls, Mike Williams, Marvin Wagner Sr., Sandie & Dave Poetzel, Alfred
Krueger, Marv & Carol Wagner Jr., and Kerry McCarron.
